David Prestipino

I received my degree in Dental Laboratory Technology from Northern Virginia Community College in 1981 and I am certified in crown and bridge. Since then I have pursued extensive continuing education including courses with Dr. Peter Dawson, Willie Geller, Oral Design, numerous attachment and milling courses and all phases of implant dentistry. I have been a member of The Seattle Study Club as well as The Implant Society of Northern Virginia. I am a fellow in the ICOI and an Active member of the Academy of Osseointegration where I have served on a number of committees. I am also a member of the AACD. Naturally I participate in many local study clubs both here in the Shenandoah valley as well as in the Washington DC area.

I have been a lab owner since 1985 in the Washington D.C. area where I have specialized in implants and complex restorative dentistry. I have restored over 60,000 implants which has given me a working knowledge of most of the implant companies. With 3 patents so far, I have been able to work closely with the research and development teams for a few companies which has rounded out an extensive real world education. This has lead to being able to teach about the very thing that I am so passionate about. From universities to state association to large symposiums, I have lectured locally as well as internationally.
